Private Lessons (1-to-1)

Regular, personalised teaching to help you build your Japanese with clear goals and steady support.

Best for: learners who want ongoing guidance for travel, everyday conversation, exams or developing their Japanese as a heritage learner.

You’ll do: work towards agreed goals → practise with guidance → use feedback to take the next step.

Included: lesson planning around your needs, clear explanations, personalised feedback and manageable practice suggestions between sessions.

Japanese Speaking Review & Plan

Understand your speaking strengths and next priority, with professional feedback and a practical four-week plan.

Best for: learners who want a clearer picture of their speaking and useful next steps for independent study or future lessons.

You’ll do: complete a short form → join a 30-minute online session with guided Japanese conversation → discuss the main feedback.

Included: a review of your form before the session, support adjusted to your level, and a personalised PDF speaking report with a four-week practice plan.

JLPT Study Plan Power-Up

Turn your JLPT goals into clear priorities and a realistic plan for your available study time.

Best for: JLPT N5–N1 candidates who need help choosing resources, organising their study or deciding what to focus on next.

You’ll do: complete a short questionnaire → join a 30-minute online coaching session → agree on priorities and practical next steps.

Included: a review of your questionnaire, a personalised PDF study plan with a three-month roadmap and detailed four-week plan, plus a reusable weekly planner.

Private Lessons: from £40 per 60 minutes · Online, with selected in-person lessons in Edinburgh South (EH10) by arrangement.
Speaking Review & Plan: £40 · 30-minute online session + personalised PDF speaking report and four-week plan.
JLPT Study Plan Power-Up: £45 standard / £40 full-time students · 30-minute online session + personalised PDF study plan and reusable weekly planner.
Online sessions: held via Google Meet.
PDF delivery: Speaking Review & Plan and JLPT Study Plan Power-Up PDFs are sent within three working days of your session.
