Note: Only 1 space left for the autumn term.

Led by Hitomi

Play-based learning that builds confidence and practical, everyday Japanese. We blend games, creativity and culture-rich activities so children use Japanese with purpose — not simply repeat it. Led by Hitomi, a native Japanese teacher with 25+ years’ experience and the author of 17 Japanese textbooks. She holds the required PVG Scheme membership. The atmosphere is calm and structured, with kind guidance and plenty of opportunities to take part.

FAQs

Why do you recommend block booking?

  1. Children learn best with regular, consistent practice. Blocks build confidence and routine far more effectively than ad-hoc sessions.

What should my child bring?

  1. A filled water bottle. We provide stationery and worksheets.

Do they need any Japanese already?

  1. No. It’s beginner-friendly. We start with romaji to explain sounds, then introduce simple hiragana/katakana and phrases through games and crafts.

My child is under 7 or over 12 — can they join?

  1. The club is designed for ages 7–12. If your child is very close to the range, please send us a message, and we’ll advise.

Can my child bring a friend or sibling?

  1. Only if there’s space and they are pre-booked and paid in advance. We must keep it to a max of 4 for quality and safety.

Cancellations & refunds

  1. Please see Terms & Conditions (Kids’ Japanese Club). If you’re unsure, message us — we’re happy to help.
